Mason Lands the Big One!

We’re on St. George Island, enjoying Crossroads Fellowship’s third Saltwater Men’s Fishing Retreat.  It’s been pretty spotty fishing this week.  We’ve just managed enough whiting for a small fish fry.  But this morning everything changed.

Mason Shelton, our yougest “member,” landed his first ever redfish … and it was a monster.  This big bull red measured in at a hefty 39 inches (no weigh scale available).  He put a big smile on Mason’s face.  After measurements and photos, the big bull was successfully resucsitated and released.
