My name is Geoff Baggett. I am the Pastor of Crossroads Fellowship in Cadiz, Kentucky. My family and my faith are my two biggest passions in my life. Fishing the surf takes third place.
Though I am landlocked and nowhere in the vicinity of salt water, I still enjoy at least two or three week-long trips to the beach every year. These surf fishing vacation getaways are always fun. And I always eagerly look forward to them. This blog is a new hobby of mine … sort of a way for me to enjoy surf fishing during the “off season,” from afar, while I prepare for my next trip.
I hope you enjoy the site. Drop me a comment or an e-mail to let me know what you think.

Hey Geoff, I haven’t emailed you lately, but we went fishing for Pompano during Spring Break. We had a great time and I caught my limit one day. I still have some in the freezer. I also hooked something huge on 65 lb line. It ran 75-100 yards and then stopped. I was down to my backline, so I tightened the drag up. It took off again and popped my line. Had to have been something big. We are going down to SGI again June 13th-20th. Just checking to see if you’ll be there the same week. If not, good luck the next time you are there.

Hi Geoff, my husband and I are currently in Indiana. His job is moving him to Cadiz. We came during ham festival and bought a house and were told by Tom Hughes about your church. It sounds a lot like oue church here and we are excited to come and make your church our HOME church. My husband Jerry will be moving there Nov. 8th. The rest of the family will move down when school is over here, in June. Jerry saw this web site today and since he is a DIEHARD fisherman from way back…you made his day! He says that now he knows you fish too, your pastoral abilities MUST be OUTSTANDING! He is looking forward to meeting you soon. Have a blessed day…..Sue
